What we collect

When you share a photo, we collect the photo, any caption you add, the country or state you are visiting from if you choose to share it, your email address, whether you agreed to our photo release, whether you asked for email updates, and basic technical details such as the time of the upload and your browser type. We remove location data from photos when they are uploaded.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to include, information about children other than what appears in the photo itself.

How we use it

We use your submission to review and post photos, to keep a record of the photo release, and to contact you about your photo. If you opt in, we also email you about DSG Mining and Deep Sea Gypsy events and offers, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who sees it

Only approved photos, captions and the country or state you chose are public. Your email is seen only by our staff. We use trusted service providers to host this website and store photos. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

Email photos@dsgmining.com to have your photo taken down, to see or correct the information we hold about you, or to have it deleted. We keep the record of your photo release for as long as we need it to show that a photo was posted with permission.
